It's that time of year again – when we get to see all the best phots of the year on display so that the Top Shot can be selected in each category. This year it amounted to more than 90 images which had been awarded a Merit duing the year, so there were plenty of very pleasing images to look over. The judge with the unenviable task of announcing the three finalists in each category – Large Prints, Small Prints and Digital – was Jeff Akers. Prior to announcing the short lists, Jeff selected a number of the images to illustrate various pleasing aspects of the composition or presentation.
There were no Members Choice awards this time, but those present were still able to get in on the action by helping to select which images should be used to represent our club in our Inter Club challenge against Cronulla later this month.
Once all the judging and selecting has been done, the three finalists in each category were revealed as displayed below. The winners will be announced at our Christmas Dinner on 4th December.
