Now that our club has setup a photo gallery using Flickr® to enable our members to showcase their work, it seemed only fit and proper to learn more about how to use it. Stepping up to the occasion for our September meeting was one of our own members who is already an avid user of Flickr – none other than Rob Goodall. Rob did a very good job of demonstrating the many features of Flickr, including albums and tagging. As keen photographers, Flickr also offers a means to check out the work of other photographers from all over the world to pick up new ideas and draw inspiration. This in turn lead into an interesting discussion about how to protect the copyright of your photographic work when you make it available online.
