We are excited to announce that the portfolio group will be running again this year. Lead by Ben this is a great program that is well worth joining.
It is your opportunity to work on your own project with the guidance and support of like-minded peers.
This first session is where you can work on your ideas statement. If you already have an idea for a project or sample work from it bring it along to share with the group. If you have lots of ideas, this is the session where you may be able to settle on one in particular. If you don’t have any ideas then this is where we can introduce you to project work and give ideas and inspiration to help you get started. There is no right or wrong with the theme of your project, just whatever sparks your interest or creative spirit. It can even be exploring a technique that you’d like to perfect.
The portfolio group runs all year and comprises of 7 sessions where we get together in the church hall to share and review our work. The final session in October is when the group will present the fruits of their labour with the rest of the club. The presentations will consist of finished projects and work in progress for those that are working on a longer term project.
