We're back and as our club president put it – I hope you are all ready to be roused from your summer stupor and get back into the new photographic year!
Our first meeting in our new home at the Uniting Church Hall this Wednesday, 3rd Feb from 7:30pm – directions here
Tonight is about getting re-acquainted with each other, and exploring our new venue, there will be nibblies available as we conduct a "Show and Tell" session. Remember to bring along one, two or three images of your own that you are proud of, or on which you'd like feedback, or images from a photographer you find inspiring or memorable. If there is some topic of photographic interest that you'd like to talk about briefly, that's fine too.
Following our first meeting on Wednesday 17th we have our first competition for the year. It is an Open theme so you can dazzle us with whatever you have been up to, photographically, over the summer break. If you are new to the club check out the competitions section of the website for more information.
Then, on Sunday 21st, we have our first outing for the year. This is a visit to Darling Harbour to see dragon boats in operation, as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
We look forward to seeing all of you on Wednesday.
