The winter season has not deterred our members as we had the largest turnout of the year in our June Open competition night. This mean that our visitor for the evening, Grace, along with all the members in attendance, had plenty of eye catching images to inspect. Of course it also meant that our experienced judge for this occasion, Eric Lippey, had plenty of work to do. However he was up to the task as he offered valuable feedback on the 36 digital images and 37 prints on display.

Awards for the night across all the categories included 13 Merits, 11 Credits and 13 Acceptances. Our Merit winners where Rob (x2), Michael (x2), Pat (x2), Jim (x2), Ashley Jenna, Ben, Adit and Rhiannon. Congratulations to our two new members competing for the first time – Adit (who scored a Merit) and Don (who scored  Credit).

As usual the Members Choice selection was not straight forward, but in a rare display of agreement all three selected by the members were also awarded a Merit in the judging. The winners were:
