Hi Everyone,

As it turned out the weather last Saturday wasn't as bad as expected, but still it promises to be dry this weekend so we're all good.

The plan is to meet at Wisemans Ferry about 10:30am on Saturday 25th. It would be about a 90 min drive from the Inner West, or maybe a bit more depending on Saturday morning traffic. I have attached a PDF map with an arrow marking the location of Wisemans Creek Central (the local equivalent of The Mall!) where a coffee can be procured by anyone is such need.

Once we are all there we shall proceed as a convey to St Albans via the Webbs Creek Ferry and the all sealed St Albans Road.

Our time exploring St Albans and surrounds will be interleaved with lunch at the old Settlers Arms Hotel. We can make it up as we go along to some extent.

On the way back to Wisemans Ferry via Settlers Road (about 10 kms of unsealed road on this side of the river) there are options to check out the old cemetery and walk a little bit of the convict build Old North Road.

It would be handy to know how many car loads of people to expect so we know when everyone who's coming has arrived at Wisemans Ferry. So do please RSVP ASAP if you are coming. And if you need a lift, or can provide one, please indicate that too.
