IWPS hashtag competition
Terms and Conditions

The competition is being run by the Inner West Photographic Society.

A new competition theme will be posted on the first of each month. The competition will close on the last day of each month and the winner will be announced on the first of the month.

You can enter the competition by posting your image to instagram, the IWPS facebook page, or the IWPS flickr group (or all of them) and tagging your image with #iwps_theme.

An eligible tagged image with the most likes on the last day of the month will be deemed the winner.

To be eligible the image must be your own work and you own the copyright to the image. Offensive or inappropriate images will not be eligible – at the discretion of the executive committee.

By entering the competition (by adding the #iwps_theme hashtag) you are granting permission for the Inner West Photographic Society to repost your image as their Facebook page banner for one month should it be selected as the winning image, and also to repost your image on instagram and facebook in order to announce the winner. Inner West Photographic Society will not use your image in any other way without permission.

The winner will have their image displayed as the IWPS facebook page banner for the next month, and have the opportunity to select the next theme which will be posted two months later.

Entrants will retain all rights to the entered images.

You can enter as many images as you like per month.

Entry is open to members and non-members of the club.

In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by a member of the Inner West Photographic Society executive committee. The judges decision will be final.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to Inner West Photographic Society and not to Facebook. The information you provide will be used for this competition only and will not be shared with other parties.
