We are already in April and two competitions have been and gone already! Apologies for the delay in announcing the results.

 

Open competition

February 2017 was our first open competition of the year. We received a good number of entries judged by Phil Ramsden. It was an entertaining evening with some excellent entries and we all left knowing never to present an image with a white sky to Phil ever again.

 

It was a very good start to the year for a number of our members who were awaded merits, all in all, 20 of them were handed out! The lucky ones were: Amanda x4, Stacey x3, Monica x2, Kevin O'Sheehan x2, Sharon x2, Drew, Lou, Kersten, Jason, Pat, Aldo, Ashley.

Themed competition: Blue

March 2017 competition had a theme of Blue. Again we had a strong number of entries judged by Linda Jocelyn.

 

There were 15 merits awarded so everyone was keeping up the good work! The merits went to: Amanda x3, Lou x2, Tracye, Thomas, Andreas, Ben, Michael, Rob, Stacey, Jason, Brian, Geoff.

It is worth noting that after only two competitions that all our new members who have entered competitions have grabbed themselves a Merit (in some cases a couple of them).

 

Please note that competitions are open to members only (though non-members are welcome to come along on the night to see how it all works). Remember if you are entering images to also fill out and hand in an entry form.
